Econ 300 Assesment

I have learned a significant amount in this class over the semester. I have improved my excel abilities through the construction of data sets, triumphed over EViews, enhanced my public speaking abilities and learned a lot about the Olympics and economic data. I feel that I have a better understanding of the process of writing [...]

Done and done

So finally, after checking and rechecking and reworking and being way too critical of my paper, I have finished.  I am about to send it off and would just like to say that this class has been great.  Seeing everyone’s research develop from vague ideas into well-formed presentations and papers has been amazing.  I got [...]

Finished.

I’m done, having finished the task that would never show progress, let alone show signs of completion. It almost killed me, I was hospitalized a few times, but I’ve returned stronger than ever  …and I’m done.

I finished!

Yeah…so I am finished with my paper.  It feels wierd, because I never thought this project would end.  Not only that, but I didn’t feel relieved to hand it in.  I liked working on the project and sort of wish I could delve further and expend the scope of the study.
About the paper, I came [...]

Fin.

Well I augmented my empirical analysis with several additional regressions that I hope do a better job of looking at my research question.  There is really little else I can do to improve it without much better data, so it is what it is.
I just finished creating an abstract, table of contents, and data appendix [...]

Finished

So I ran into a few problems that I happened to notice when writing out my conclusions and had to rework my model a little. However, once that was done some of my coefficients that were not aggreeing with my hypotheses came to agree with my hypotheses which I found to be very encouraging. Well [...]

Almost there

Congrats on getting your paper done Abby! I wish I were done! I have a few more adjustments to make to my paper today before I turn it it. I need to fix my regression so that the dummy variables are for 0 and 1 not 1 and 2. Also, I need to put it [...]

DONESKY!

I just turned my paper in and I couldn’t be happier. This class was a great way to end my college career and I’m very happy to have taken it when I did. Thank you to my classmates and to Professor Greenlaw, you have felt my pain with me the entire way.
Peace and Love to [...]

Absentee References

I’m tripping with the finish line in sight at 12:15. I’ve been working on polishing my in-text citations, but one source continues to elude me. I can’t find it on any of the search engines available through the library and am currently checking fallback sites (such as the Library of Congress) for the source. The [...]

Auto Quality Ratings

Well, my paper editing is going pretty well…However, I’m trying to tweak my model a little by adding perceived quality ratings as an independant variable that helps determine automobile demand. However, my search over the last week for quality ratings has been unsuccessful. According to an empirical study that is part of my lit review, [...]
